When: 15 July @ 1100 Where: Controlled Chaos Arms in Baxter, IA (for those who have never attended previous events) Food: Potluck *** yammerschooner...pulled pork butt *** fatdrunkandstupid...crock-pot (2?) of beans *** bionicsniper...ultimate chocolate cakes *** CatfishHunter...smoked chicken & some chips *** SamW...assorted desserts *** hurtback...pan or two of mac and cheese *** hondajohn...? *** Nemolicious...unable to attend so we'll catch you next time Nemo *** Inspector2211...meatballs *** U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D...paper plates, napkins & plastic utensils *** Compass...bacon-wrapped little smokies *** DeltaGunner7994...two pans of four-layer chocolate desert *** Kalahnikid...cooler full of ice *** Countryboycarter87...beverages *** timthemedic...beverages and chips *** booger-hooker...spring salad and macaroni salad I know a few of you have spoke earlier about what you may be able to bring as far as food but if this date and time works for you to attend please post in this thread what you will be able to bring and I'll update it as people post so we don't have 20 bags of chips and 10 crockpots of baked beans. Once again there will be casual plinking going on so don't be afraid to bring something new to try out or your old reliable standby guns you always plink with. At this time there will be no organized/sponsored shooting competitions at this event as it's meant for everyone to come and just relax with old friends and meeting new ones. I know I have stuff I need to start clearing out of the booger bunker so I'll have some stuff there for sale and probably various gun magazines to just give away. Do not post on this thread what you might be bringing or any prices...it'll just be an incentive for people to show up and be surprised at what they see (or don't see if nobody brings anything  )

First off. Thanks Michael and CCA for providing a place to shoot, eat and have a good time meeting some new people.
Thanks Booger Hooker for getting a date set. I think I don't have anything going on that day! It's a very busy July schedule wise for me so I hope I can make it. I'll post what food I'll bring as it gets closer.

I've got it on the calendar. The fiance likes to bake, so count me in for assorted desserts most likely. (Plus they're easy to eat in the truck on the way there).

I know you've got a bunch of steel, but need/want any more? I've got a homemade Texas-star that (usually) works and a dueling tree (Pistol/PCC only preferably) I can bring along. I also have rimfire paddles for the dueling tree. Got some gongs, but I figure you've got that covered. Target stands/targets? |

I'll be there - I don't see that anyone is bringing pop and chips - I'll bring that. If anyone has a nice big ass cooler, I'd appreciate that. Ours isn't big enough to handle a couple cases.

HEY? one last quick thing guys, that'd really make my day.
are there any of you that plan on staying until the shooting is over that could bring a few big tarps? in the past we've laid down tarps and the flying shells. can anyone help out with that? that way we just lift them up and we're done in seconds. |

 Unfortunately it looks like I am going to have to cancel as I have some family stuff that needs some attention. Dang I was excited for my first IHTF get together. Hope I can make the next one! Have fun guys!
