What's going on downtown(DSM) at the Marriott Hotel? Place is crawling with DMPD, ISP, and a bunch of other agencies from around Iowa.

I guess that would make sense. It looked like most of the DMPD and Troopers were there in a security function.
All the other agencies that had vehicles in the different lots and along the streets I really didn't see.
Did DMPD get a new tactical vehicle? I noticed one in the alley it was unmarked, but not one I have seen around town before.

Yep, DMPD bomb squad k9 unit was in my store today getting food, and told me the dog was tired from working through all the buildings. I still got to say hi to his dog and play with her for a bit.

No threats were called in, just SOP for the conference to make sure buildings were clear.
