I was going to the one in Altoona about two years ago and noticed a sign and so I left. It wasn't a no guns sticker, it was about a paragraph of text that said something to effect of "Because we serve alcohol we don't want guns in our restaurant" I don't know if it’s still up. However I went to the one in Ankeny about 3 weeks ago and it wasn't posted.

I didn't notice one at the Ankeny store the last time I was there. I might have to stick with Smokey D's until this is cleared up.

I know the skywalk going into Wells Fargo Arena has a strict no guns or weapons sign. I always laugh inside when they let me in, yet stop everyone with a bag so they can check the bag. |

Buddy of mine and I ate at the one out damned near to Waukee and I was not impressed.
It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anywhere near as good as I had been lead to believe. That was in June and I did not notice any anti-gun signs, but didn't really look 'cuz I really didn't care. |

They have a Bacon dedicated one in clive now! I just might check it out sometime to see if they have that sign or not. BTW its where Hooters use to be

Been to the one out by Waukee several times (pretty close to my house) while carrying. Never noticed a sign. Might have to pay more attention next time.
I agree with whoever said that Smokey D's is better though. |
