Call me a sinner, but I don't like IDPA style events, ESPECIALLY 3-gun.
There is also an IDPA governed/style 3-gun event in Linn County this weekend. I believe they require you to pass their safety course before you can participate (no idea if they offer it day of) I will likely shoot USPSA at Blackhawk this weekend. |

I'm with you on the IDPA thing. It's pretty bizarre after shooting USPSA.
I've shot a 3-gun match at Eddyville though, and it was pretty relaxed. Keep in mind that there are no official IDPA multigun/3-gun matches. They're all "outlaw" as they say. Every club or match director will have his or her own take on it. I had fun with the Eddyville crew. |

LOL, my android tablet does that some times when I cut and past. Wish I could find some more info on this shoot, like can I run multiple optics etc.

I wouldn't think your Saiga would be allowed, even though it can't complete a course of fire without jamming.
 The handgun should be IDPA legal.
This is the ruleset they go by: http://seipsg.proboards.com/thread/215/idpa-3gun-rule-mickelic-style Greg ran optics on all three guns last time and it wasn't an issue... so the rules aren't hard and fast I guess. I think they'd rather you show up and shoot what you brought than tell you to go home. Anyway, here isn't the place to ask.
