I haven't been to a gun show for a LONG time so I'm going first thing this morning as I have to pickup our daughter in Des Moines later in the day anyway.  I got an e-mail from IFC a couple weeks ago that my membership was due for renewal so I'll go ahead and do that while I'm there...looks like I'll probably get some raffle tickets while I'm there as well.

I can't think of anything I'm really needing or that I'll be looking for at the gun show so I guess that takes the stress and pressure of having to find something while I'm there.  I'll be there walking around with the tan CCA hat and a walking boot on my right foot...possibly with crutches if my foot starts to not like all the walking/standing.  After 7 months it's good to finally be able to drive.

I went to the gunshow yesterday and walked around with Fish for a while looking at stuff.  I ended up buying 2 of the 120mm mortar cans, a surplus night vision "pelican style" case for a Mac-11A1 SMG (got home and it's a touch too small but could be made to work if I want to), renewed my IFC membership and bought a raffle ticket for the rifle.  There was a decent crowd while I was there but I had to leave at noon to pick up our daughter and my foot was killing me by then anyway after only 2 1/2 hours.

Didn't see anything I absolutely had to have but the semi RPD did catch my eye...
