Sorry for the hijack op. There really are some stupid people out there that don't think of potential consequences. Saw a dude in ankeny on friday, new bike, real unstable, about jumped it into a car, with a lady on the back... with his ability he shouldn't of had a passenger. And neither idiot had a helmet on

Was a kid (teenager) killed near here 6 or 8 years back, two ATVs with 3 kids on one and 4 on the other, playing bumper cars on a gravel road.
Front tire on one hit rear tire on the other and climbed up and flipped, broke one kid's neck. Of course parents sued ATV manufacturer for making an unsafe product; if I were lawyer for ATV manu, I would have counter-sued for defamation and raising a stupid kid. Originally Posted By soldier65:

Girl on our daughters soccer team rolled her ATV on Friday, she's real lucky to only have lost a lot of skin on her calves, back of the legs and back of one arm. She was going too fast and tried to turn a corner she told me today which is what I figured had happened.

The real award winners are the parents for buying the thing in the first place and allowing an immature person to operate it. Unfortunately, the parents don't know how stupid they are some days. I don't blame the manufacturer, I blame idiot parents and a legal system that is owned and operated by the trial lawyers association. It's been stolen from the people by legal shysters. YMMV kwg

Gotta add to this thread. Saturday night a bicyclist was killed on this same stretch of road. I did not know about that until this morning. I heard the Troopers coming through town Sataurday night but had not heard about where they went. Reports are muddled a bit now, but appears that Bicyclist was east bound, and was struck from behind by a pu truck. Happened a little after 9 PM.

i ride my atv like that day and night. might have been me you saw... was the guy flanked by a couple of hotties or lumber jacks? if they were hotties, it was me. if not, it was bob roberts.
