THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT June 9th and 10th – they will be in Medora, ND (well, at least their guns will be) with National Firearms Museum senior curator Doug Wicklund at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. As part of the Cowboy Hall of Fame’s renowned “Winchester Weekend” event, and back by popular demand – Wicklund will be conducting his version of an antique roadshow for guns. Any folks in the area with an interesting firearm are invited to come by the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame to have their items examined by the man called the “Gun Whisperer” for his insightful stories of arms and their histories. While there – check out a Walther PPK pistol used by Timothy Dalton in “License to Kill” as well as the Colt pistol that Tom Selleck carried in his popular CBS TV series “Magnum P.I.” Or perhaps Luke Skywalker’s light saber is more your speed. All three special items with a Hollywood connection are on short-term loan from the National Firearms Museum collection and will be in Medora, ND until June 25, 2012. Want more information? – email nfmstaff@nrahq.org for more details or call the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame at (701) 623-2000. |
