THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Carrying in a restaurant that serves alcohol is illegal in ND. In light of recent events in Chicago (Link), we need to tell ND Congress that should be able to protect ourselves everywhere, including alcohol serving restaurants. I know the possibility of that kind of attack is low in ND, but any crazy can come into a restaurant and shoot up the place. Also, with the oil boom undesirables are bound to move up here. I hate having to dearm myself just to go to a nicer dining establishment.

Thoughts?

I agree. If someone with some better persuasive writing skills than I could write up a nice letter I'd love to bombard my representatives office and have others do the same.

But I'm really not sure that letters actually get much done. Maybe a petition, but It'd be hard to get enough signatures. I think we need almost 27,000. Here's some info on petitions: https://vip.sos.nd.gov/pdfs/Portals/initiating.pdf

I'm all in if we can come up with a good plan.

Tried to IM you, but your box was full. I'd be willing to help put a group effort together if others are interested as well.

My inbox is empty now. I'm pretty sure I can find some others that would be interested.
