THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT So the USPSA match on May 20th is cancelled. UPDATE- USPSA matches will resume. updated - 6/22 末 The club did get a quote to install baffles on their 200 and 50 yard range, about $30,000. The BOD will be checking on insurance, permits, engineering approval of the plans and checking the club by-law regarding club member approval of this large of expense. If everything can be answered satisfactory by the BOD meeting on July 2nd then a vote will be taken to start the construction. Construction will take about four weeks after approval. So the range could be open in early August. Stay tuned. The pistol matches will continue as schedule and the three gun matches will be held as well. Our next match is July 1st. |

Well, I sure appreciate the notice they've given to the folks who've have paid money to be range members about what's going on.....oh wait....they haven't. Were it not for the whole USPSA thing I wouldn't have had a clue anything was going on.

No word on when Big Sioux will re-open.
The Omaha club was asked if they could host the sectional but they can't this year. I received my sectional registration check back in the mail yesterday |

Is the Glock GSSF match off as well?

I would assume all the various shooting events are cancelled including the Glock match,CMP matches, cowboy matches and training classes, qualifications etc.
However, this is just my assumption from the very limited info I've been given. Nobody is saying much as is common when lawyers get involved. |

Thanks should go out to the guys at Sioux Falls Practical Shooters for provinding updates for Big Sioux. Were it not them, members out at Big Sioux wouldn't have a clue as to what's going on..... which pisses me off as it isn't their responsibility.
Here's the update. 末末末末末末末 The range is still closed so no match on this coming Sunday. Big Sioux is getting quotes for baffles for the rifle and upper pistol ranges. |

I hear there is a board of directors meeting the first week in June. Go chew their ass out Dissident
I hope they allow matches in the ipsc bays to resume especially considering the problem is at the upper range. Originally Posted By Dissident:

I shoot glock. Specifically a G17 I bought just for competition. It runs like shit. Multiple FTE and FTF. Shot 1 and 2 with it, gave up and got my G19 from the truck.
Shot the next three without a malfunction. Same ammo, mags, holster and light. Talking to glock now. The flashlight on the gun bumps me into open. Probably shoot Limited next time. Last three went well. |
