I have an Arizona CPL. I also have an expired Missouri instructor certification that I could probably re-up.

I think I know the answer but I'll ask it anyway.

I'm guessing if I want to carry in Michigan I have to get a Michigan CPL?

Michigan is listed as honoring an Arizona CPL.  If you become a resident, you'll need to get a Michigan CPL.

Yup. It depends where your official residency is. If you're still an AZ resident, then MI honors your AZ CPL. However, if you've become an MI resident, you will need to get an MI CPL. The 6 month residency requirement for an MI CPL will be waived because you had an AZ CPL.
