I've only been back here 10 years but this is by far the most attention I have seen MI get in a national race.   All the big wheels have been concentrating on MI.   The Dems must be awfully worried.

I sure hope so, it would be nice if my vote actually mattered in this state, have got my ass kicked in this state since 92

If you know a Trump voter that works odd shifts, send them a friendly reminder to vote today.   I work a 12 hour night shift and it is easy to lose track of days sometimes.  (or get up too late to vote, etc)

I think Trump will either win MI, or come closer to winning than the past two elections.

Traffic was light on my drive this morning and the radio is reporting light traffic still.  I'm hoping that's a good sign, working people are going to vote.

I voted around 0900, and I have never had to wait in a line before.  I was voter #172 in my precinct, and it seems like it is still in the double digits when I vote.  At that time of day it is mostly old folks and non working soccer mommies.

I have no idea who high voter turnout, at least in my area, helps or hurts.  I took a back way through some residential streets to get home and saw 5 trump signs for every 2 or 3 Hillary.  Whatever, I guess we find out soon enough.

Every vote is important.  Don't let the middle class and the 2nd Amendment become history.  Make us proud MI!

Looking at the 2012 results for MI, 0 won by about 5.5 million votes out of about 4.7 million cast.  A bunch of stay home and not vote from the left, and a couple million voters flipping from D to R....?

First presidential election at my new precinct, so not sure how to compare it.  There was no line, fewer people than voted for the primaries.  Probably not a bad thing for voter turn out since there seems to be a bit of a liberal leaning around here

Cautiously optimistic.  The amount of attention both candidates gave Michigan in the last two days bodes well for Trump.

Yep, me too.

Our polls were packed this morning.

I was voter  #1, wife was #2.  When we left, there was at least 1/2 hour wait.

We've been voting there for > 20 years, and never seen it so busy that early.

Gut feeling is it was a good sign.

Waited over an hour in courtland township. I walked right in and out during the primaries. I overheard talk of they haven't seen a turnout like this in a while. Massive amounts of absentee ballets compared to usual as well. #draintheswamp

The Ann Arbor and the Detroit area would vote for Communists if you let them. So no, Mr. Trump won't win.

Thanks to everyone that voted, and got the message out.  Many of us didn't think Trump would win MI, but we voted anyway.

I wish I had time to do some celebratory gunfire today.

I went to bed at 1am, the alarm goes off early at our house.

It sure seemed like some precincts in Detroit took a long time to report (um, because cheating???) but awoke with a big feeling of relief for our Country!

Well done everyone, and especially a hat tip to PA

I stand corrected and elated. Mr. Trump, with Republicans having control of both houses of Congress, should be able to make progress on National Concealed Carry Reciprocity, a pro-gun Supreme Court and even a National Firearms Preemption Law that bans States from restricting firearm ownership and use more than the Federal Law allows.

MI pulled it off for Trump, by a mere 13,225 votes!!!
