Things still wrapping up, but I transferred from here in Monroe County (Fermi 2 nuke), to a gas burner in St Clair County (Greenwood) in Nov. of last year. Been working nuke for the past 26 years and don't miss that nut house one bit.
House down here is essentially sold and an offer on a house in the Marlette area has been accepted, and processes are rolling along fine on both ends.
Wife transfers to an office in Sandusky when ever her company can support it.
Just have to struggle through moving the 10 metric butt tons of shit I own.
Been driving there and back each day. Wake up at 3:30 am, drive 2 hours to catch a 6 am start. Drive home usually over 2 hours, sometimes 2.5 hours, due to driving through the cesspool of Detroit.
Damn, I can't hardly wait for that drive to be over.
