Seems the socialists in Washtenaw are offering a $50 Visa gift card per gun. They say "working gun" on the page, but if you are just walking in, dropping it, and walking out with a gift card, how do they verify it's working? What about zip guns? Not sure if anybody wants to get rid of their 80% mistakes, or make a few cheap plastic lowers for a couple of gift cards. Would be nice to see a couple FFLs paying more than the Sheriff is...

Will this mean if I am surrendering a $100 value junk they will hand out a $500 gift card to me?
Have a single shot 20G shotgun that a college gave me few years ago that I just let it sit there collecting dust, never even shot it so this got me thinking. the value I am guessing probably only $50-$80 value. Nevermind, I can't read. It is $50 instead of $500. |
