Pierce Engineering did my son's 870.

He makes engine parts and bolt action receivers, so Cerakote isn't their #1 priority.

It took less time to complete the Cerakote job by mailing an AR to Blue Panda (an Arfcommer) in Little Rock, Arkansas than to have Pierce complete a hand delivered shotgun. He did a decent job but he's generally busier doing other things.

I hand delivered the entire gun. Disassembly is a minutes-long affair so it's not really adding a meaningful amount of time to the project.

FWIW his shop is pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure that these guys apply cerakote in store, if you're local it may be worth it to look into it.

ETA: The hours on the site and the hours on the sign at the store are reversed so you may want to call 'em.

Hydroprint or Cerakote?

Both  Some of our customers brought in guns that were dipped and they looked great.

I have a hydroprint project in mind. If I can find a Diamondhead forearm I'll get the whole thing going.

It will be pink and flowery, and it will be called "The Dirty Hippie."
