Again, I can't seem to watch a full game with these clowns. I guess baseball is not as appealing to me as it once was. ( sacrilegious, I know ) |

Detroit Tigers starter Justin Verlander has been given clearance to "resume a throwing progression designed to return him to full competition," the team announced today. Verlander's MRI results from Monday were reviewed by Dr. Tony Romeo. He has been out since March with strained triceps. This was his third MRI exam. Verlander tipped his hand on the results with an Instagram earlier today: "Green means go!!! Gas pedals on the right! |

Walk off Bunt... How many times has anyone seen one. It was looking like a Mauling in the first three innings. Payback time. Ventura made a game of it though, despite KC having a shitty night of errors, and almost in time throws. Both teams playing at the same cycle, and neither peaking yet, makes for good baseball. I can see some angst building on the KC side though. Price should be fine, as he just rolled an ankle and strained a Calf a little. If it was serious, he wouldn't have been in the dugout with ice on it, he would have beein in a fast car headed to DMC. KC is a notoriously Streaky team, and always has been. They are due for a lull, starting any game now. The look on the faces, as KC cleared the dugout was priceless. This one HURT! |

Today was a goat Rodeo of definitive lack in production. The same shit the team had issues with, last year. It has to end. |

These announcers on ESPN are horrid. View Quote Beyond horrid. It's like listening to a couple NPR Gardening disphits, discussing the merits of one Tomato variety over another. Absolutely lifeless hacks, that wont shut up about the Megamarket teams and players, while covering a game. I got pulled away from the game, on account of our Beekeeper showed up with a truckload of colony's for Pollenation. I don't even know what happened after the 3rd Inning when Ian tied things up. Get back in, and it's rain delay, so of course it's now Basketball horseshit. It's May....Nobody cares about Basketball, or they would be on the other channel that has the actual game. Waiting... |

"We welcome you back to what was Sunday Night Baseball, and has become Monday Morning Baseball."
Only funny/interesting thing these announcers have said all night. |

Nathan left Jobu in Nesbitt's locker.... The Pen doesn't do the job again. I'm beginning to really, really, hate KC. Almost as much as I hate DD. Young is something else. I want to hate the guy, but he's an artist. He plays batters, like Clapton does a six string. The guy simply delivers masterful pitching, with no drama unless you look for the details, and then it's there. I watched him change the break on the exact same slider, delivered several times in the second inning. Just a disturbing level of control, and focus. The Bats not waking up, is understandable. Guys like him, make losing tolerable, if it wasn't for the game being given away by Nesbitt, and DD, who actually have earned any hate to be handed out. I hate seeing the crew play their guts out, and then get screwed by a discount hack in late innings. We did that last year. |

[#23]
Can't blame it all on the pen. Bases loaded with no outs, and they can't get a run? Terrible.

Well, That was splatacular!!
Send them back to the liberal Yuppie hell they came from, with PTSD!! The Bats woke up...finally! I hope somebody videotaped everything from pre-game to locker room rituals, then every single asshole needs to do the exact same thing, every dadgum game. No goofy crap, no Zubaz's, no changes. Wear a groove in that Vinyl. Same songs played on the same boom boxes...everything. It was nice to see Sanchie back in form. I didn't like the guy at first, and really am not a fan yet, but he WORKS at what he does, and corrects himself constantly. I got worried because Doc was behind the plate, and not Alex, leaving Sanchie second guessing himself alone at a few points. Either Doc made the right call, or Sanchie quit beating himself up, and didn't give a shit...but it worked. Doc did a fine job of exceeding expectations as well!! St.Louis is going to be interesting. I don't think two teams anywhere are as close to even. It's going to be an angst ridden series. |

When the Bats wake up, nobody can stop this team. I can't wait to listen to the Baseball Dweebs on sports radio tomorrow. The NL homers and KC Fanbois are getting to be annoying. The excuses are going to be laughable. |
