My son works in Clarksville and got the flyer below. Also said that there are radio ads about it on a couple of the local stations. Its the Saturday of the Memorial Day Weekend. If Midsouth Shooters Supply is involved it should be legit.

I checked into it. You basically pay them $15 for the privilege of buying their ammo at inflated prices and shooting their guns. Think Knob Creek without the mainline, helicopter rides, competitions, and gun show.

Well with the cost of a full-auto firearm, I can understand why they wouldn't let somebody shoot with whatever reloads or steel case stuff that they might have brought.

In my mind a Machine Gun Shoot is a gathering of machine gunner getting together and shooting. What these guys are doing is running a rental range. KCR does both with the gunners on the main line and the rentals on the lower range. I have nothing against rentals since most folks would never get a chance to shoot full auto otherwise. The prices are kind of high but even posties get expensive to maintain. Steel cases ammo? Not a big deal...shot thousands of them through my transferables.

I don't think they are trying to be Knob Creek.
As you said appears they are just providing an opportunity to shoot full auto to folks who otherwise might never have the chance. |
