Sounds like they will have two options.

1) Conceal their identity, and give Metro Nashville PD an excuse to arrest them before they start the shenanigans that they are known for.

2) Don't conceal their identity, and take their chances on being identified for a later arrest for their shenanigans (assuming that they don't end up being the coroner's responsibility to identify, after pulling the shenanigans that they are known for).

Won't shit happen. Remember when BLM blocked I-265? Metro was there escorting them so the truckers didn't run their ignorant asses over.

Barry will ensure nothing gets done to the antifa crowd. Bet on it.  

A large crowd of a protected class, blocking traffic as part of a "peaceful protest", is not the same thing as a bunch of mostly white, violent liberals blatantly attacking people.

Barry puts a lot of value on the illusion of a liberal utopia.  Clean sidewalks (with no graffiti or construction paint markings), bike lanes, etc.  Remember the homeless camp next to the fort?  People living in tents, on park property on a hill overlooking downtown, didn't fit with the illusion of a liberal utopia, so she didn't lift a finger to protect that camp.

If the ANTI-FirstAmendment crowd shows up and waves signs while chanting, I don't expect anything to be done about them, even if they block traffic.  If they show up openly carrying rifles (like the AZ group), I expect metro PD to check to see if they are carrying ammo.  If they start the shenanigans they are known for (physically attacking people), I would not be surprised to see metro PD start making arrests and using the masks as a 'take them all in and sort out who gets additional charges, later' excuse.

People dressing up in a single color, with matching masks/hoods covering their faces, and getting violent in the streets, does nothing for the illusion of a liberal utopia, especially if it shows up on youtube.

Metro won't do shit! Chief Anderson had officers giving out water and cocoa when BLM shut the interstate down.

Blocking traffic on West End is one thing. Blocking traffic on I-265 is quite a different matter, IMO.

I was headed back to Nashville on I-40, at the time.  I was east of Carthage when everything came to a stop.  Took forever to make it to an exit so that I could hop over to Hwy 70, and Hwy 70 was a little slower than usual, due to the people that were doing the same thing that I was.

Handing out hickory shampoo may have been more satisfying, but the 'officer Friendly' approach, along with the followup meetings that were arranged, took the wind out of their sails.

Protester:  Black Lives Matter!  Fuck da police!  Black Lives Matter!

Officer Friendly:  Hey, it's kinda hot.  You need to stay hydrated.  Here's some water.  Have a nice day.

Makes the protester look pretty stupid, doesn't it?

Officer Friendly:  Hey!  It's illegal to wear a mask in public, for the purposes of concealing your identity.  I'm going to have to ask you to remove the mask, or take a ride to the station.

Again, hickory shampoo would probably be more satisfying, but the AntiFA crowd doesn't seem to be inclined to get too frisky without some way to hide from the consequences of their actions.  Unmasking them could head off their festivities, or the mask law could be used as a 'take them all down to the station and sort it out' option, if they get frisky before something can be done to stop them.
