Greetings TN members!  I'm bringing the wife to Nashville for our second visit over Memorial Day weekend.  We were curious what goes on in the area for the holiday, what locals would recommend we plan to do, etc. and I'm hoping you fine folks wouldn't mind sharing your knowledge.  

This isn't a request for basic tourist stuff, we developed a pretty good list based on our last visit.  We're curious about anything specifically for Memorial Day, like parades, fireworks, special concerts, memorial services at local war memorials, etc.  We're checking out the local websites and such but haven't seen a ton of events just yet.

There's usually not a lot of things going on Memorial Day. I think the vet organizations do some things but there's no big fireaorks thing or similar. The 4th of July is the Big Party in Nashville.
