My son just called to say they have more .22lr than he has seen in YEARS.

Small mountains of bricks.

No Blazer, but several other varieties.

Go Get It!

It'll be gone in two days, if not sooner.

I picked up 1600 rounds of cci mini mag for $120 out the door on wednesday evening and there was plenty more!  900 rounds of cci stinger for the same price.

The news has apparently spread.

One of the guys at work had heard about it, and said he's driving to Memphis, tomorrow.

I'm not driving to Memphis for that. Not worth it. I keep looking at walmart. I will see some in a couple of years. It has been three years since I have seen 22LR. Thanks for the info though.

I was in the Madison/Inglewood area, this afternoon, so I went by the Nashville Bass Pro to see if they had any .22 ammo.  The only rimfire I could find, was .17HMR.  Seemed to have a decent amount of anything centerfire.

Grabbed a couple boxes of .30-30, since I was there.

Seems to be plenty in Huntsville, for $40.00 per 525 brick

I was at the Pyramid-BPS last Sunday.  They had hundreds of boxes of Winchester (555 & 333), lots of 100 round CCI minimags, dozens of the 300 round CCI tactical 22 and a few dozen 900 round boxes of stingers. Much more.

The 900 round boxes of stingers were $75ish after tax. The 300 round CCI tactical was low $20's.

I left with 3 boxes of the CCI tactical 22.

I was downtown today.  They still had a lot of it for sale.

They must have dropped the price on the stingers. They were $120 tax and all when I was there.

I was there today. Pallets of Winchester and Remington sitting out. Automatch is all gone. Plenty of CCI.

I could have been wrong on the price. They selling the stuff so fast. When I was there, they didn't have it on the shelf. They were pulling from a cart. So, I never saw a shelf sticker. I heard that price at the register. I could have heard wrong. I was there to get minimags, standard or tactical.

I did see the sticker for the 1600 round box of CCI minimags. It was $109 plus tax, but they were out.

Yep the 1600rd box and the 900rd box were the same price. $109 and with tax they came out to $120.

yeah, some. A good supply of bullets, primers and brass. There was several 1 pound jugs of powder. I didn't look close, but i saw RL15. All was in small retail sizes. No bulk bullets, primers or powder. About the same reloading inventory as a typical BPS.

gotigers- What were the crowds like last night when you were there?

The crowd was small. I parked 150 ft from the front door and lines only had a couple of people each. The place is big, so there were probably several hundred shoppers and tourists there.  However, Uncle Buck's restaurant had 1.5 hr wait. Last weekend there was an hour or so wait for the observation deck. Last night i went straight up. This weekend will probably be crazy again.

The 22 is going quick. A coworker said, that pallet in the pic was 3ft tall earlier that day.

Their reloading section exists, but it's the same size as the one in the old BassPro.  Avery and Sportsman's warehouse both have more.

Finally went today for the first time.  Nice place, good crowd.  They had a feeble amount of 22 behind the register.   It was all 50 or 100 round boxes, nothing more.  Limit five per person.  Fed champion was $2.50 per 50 rounds, which is pretty darn good.  They had stingers and a couple other types also.  I got my limit.  First time I've bought 22 at an actual store in years.

Gonna be close today with some free time, is it worth stopping to look for .22 or is it all gone?

Haven't seen .22 in the wild in Knoxville in a long time. Wish we could get some at a decent price around here.

I didn't have the time I thought I'd have so I didn't make it. With that storm front that moved through I decided to head on back to Middle Tn and tried to stay ahead of it but it caught me about Jackson anyway.

Car break-ins at Bass Pro.  Good idea not to leave valuables in your vehicles.  Especially guns and ammo.

This should be SOP no matter where you are.

The 2 times I've been there, there was a heavy popo presence. I know what everyone is thinking, this is Memphis, no surprise. Maybe so, but I am having a hard time believing this. When I was there, the lot had a dozen cops.

I only saw one today and he was inside at the main entrance chit chatting with the BP worker guarding the exit.  BP would be smart to install a good video surveillance on their lot.  It would help catch up with people and give their customers a warm and fuzzy.

I use this in my truck:  http://www.consolevault.com/toyota-tundra-floor-console-2007-2011.html  I figure it's better than nothing and should give some added protection for the random thief/door popper.
