Understood.

Figured they were going to the Guard compound.

But it's still neat to see em come out of nowhere

I love getting the occasional flyover at my house.  The wife just rolls her eyes and laughs during the 30seconds when I turn into a 5yr old.

LoL and as if on queue, a Blackhawk flies low and slow over the house.  Really low, actually, like 150' low.  Thought he was looking for a place to land or something.

ETA:  And now a fighter jet flies over in the clouds somewhere.

I was out at Haw Ridge Park (near Bull Run, Oak Ridge) two weekends ago when a group of 3 flew over then circled around and came back. Very cool.

The little birds flew over my place in Hermitage around Noon. Even the wife was impressed.

When they deactivated al the OH-58s on FT Campbell not too long ago, they got a video of them doing a flyover in two V formations over the hospital on base where I work. It was pretty impressive. It's on the Blachfield Army Community Hospital Facebook page, but I can't figure out how to link the video here.

I remember seeing that a few weeks ago and wondered what was going on.
