My 17 yo God-daughter is in the end stage of Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease. She went into respiratory failure yesterday and is now in hospice care. Prayers requested to help her fight the lung infection that is compounding the CF. I believe in the power of prayer and sure cold use a miracle about now. Doctor said she could have days, maybe weeks if she doesn't improve soon.

Update 10/8/14: At 0833 this morning she passed from this world and went to the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.

Update 9/15/14: This is the first chance I've had to check in to answer many of the questions I've had.
Her name is Kenna Taylor. I don't do facebook but search her name and add warren county tn with her name and you should find her. She is over her limit on friends and unable to add any more.
She is home now and resting. She is still fighting and eating well and trying to keep her strength up.
She is in good spirits, for such an ordeal she has the brightest outlook and is still able to smile and not be bitter or angry about her situation.
She is in good shape with her relationship with our Lord and Savior, I have no worries there.
Thank You all who read this for your kind words and prayers. even if you don't post you did it I know most who open and read this will pray for her and her family without replying to the thread.

Lost our first child to Cystic Fibrosis some years back. We know what you are going through. My wife and I are praying for the child and we will have our church offer up prays for her tomorrow.

Thank you. The wife and I still pray for Kenna everyday. We were relieved to know she has accepted the Lord. Made such a big difference in our daughters life. After almost 20 years of in and out of hospitals we came to understand that these kids with CF are very tough. We will continue to pray for Kenna and the whole family.

Today at 0833 she passed on from this world. we had a very long night with her but she was surrounded by her close friends and loved ones.We all held her and prayed as she took her last breath. She suffers no more. Thank you for all the kind words and prayers. Many I haven't seen till just now. Funeral will be at High's Funeral home in McMinnville
