As part of my shame - I did not hit my intended target from 1,012 yards, many others did.

This will be fixed for the next shoot.

First and fore most - thanks to Taliv and Crazy Harry for their making this happen. Tom for putting together another great shoot and Ian for bringing the Great Equalizer.

We had a great shoot, all the "accuracy" guys went to the southern range, while we had all the fun on the northern range. We had some new faces and I am glad you came and got to meet you. Also had a good return crowd - which is always fun.

I'll get pics an vids uploaded first thing in the morning, if you have some, post em up!

And for those wondering mk211 effect on target is bad ass.

Big thanks to everyone who made the shoot possible.  What a great day it turned out to be.  I really should have put on sun screen...  I look forward to the next shoot.

my AAR:

another 16 straight hours and thousands of rounds downrange without seeing a single person muzzle-swept or seeing a finger on trigger inappropriately.

Saw a lot of cool guns and great shooting.   Painted over a lot more hits on the long range targets than last time.

I ate way too much brisket ribs and sandwiches but they were pretty tasty.

thanks to everyone for shooting safely!

I was about 8" high on a 3'x4' plate, aimed towards the top of the plate to let any drop compensate for arc and make a hit. Should of just held in dead center.

Ok but it looks like you had over 100 rounds to try... Did you just quit and go to the other range and shoot the fun toys?

I had 1 round, Undefined brought the ammo.

We actually finished the day at the 1000 yard area, as it shoots over where we were shooting earlier.

Keep in mind these pics were from just 1/2 of the shoot. There was another massive area all the precision rifles were being shot at from 300-1500 yards, but isn't .50 friendly.

ETA: half the group was in our area, the other 1/2 in the southern area.

The group pic represents just 1/2 of us who were there, I'd say we had 25-30 this time

I offered you another one to try again.

As for the two areas - we hung out in the cool area. The other side is for serious stuff, our side is for blowing shit up and turning money into noise.

Just made it back to the internet. These things seem to get better every time. Glad everyone had fun in my area and looking forward to seeing everyone (my harem) back in June. BTW, if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations on anything we can add or do differently, post it or send me an email and I'll see what we can do . We already got approval for 37mm chalk round ski-ball so I'm interested to see what else you guys can come up with

More explosions.
More grenade launcher.
More distance on the 50 (1000 is no longer enough )

Anyone have a truck, a 1919, and a pintle mount? I've got some good ideas for that combination...

That, or add a short Cola Warrior style course. With coke and peeps.

Now you're talking.

There's a fella up in Whitehouse who participates on 1919a4.com who has a deuce and a half with twin Ma Deuces setup in AA configuration (unfortunately, they are semi auto).... we really need to get to know him better.

HEY

I think Kyle passed out the discount codes to most of you for the Armageddon gear hotness.  20% off as many orders as you want til this time next year.   They have the best suppressor covers (to prevent heat mirage from obscuring your view through scope) and the best precision rifle slings bar none.

however, some of you left before he showed up.  I shared your email with him so he can send the codes to you, but I don't have email for all of you, so send me an email if you didn't get it and we'll get you hooked up
