We are laying the groundwork now to take the Tactical Rifle class with Ronin Combat Strategies.

Saturday March 31st and Sunday April 1st 2012
The Tactical Rifle class is $150 for Saturday and $300 for both days to include Tactical and Intermediate Rifle.


**Also, we will be adding the Intermediate Rifle class on Day 2.**

This will be a two day class and the dates are Saturday March 31st and Sunday April 1st 2012.

I believe the class is held at a range near Como, MS. about 45 minutes south of Memphis.

I asked Jason to work around the MSSA 3 gun matches on March 17 and April 21st and also the Knob Creek shoot on April 14th.

By scheduling the class in the spring, that will give everyone plenty of time to get the required gear and ammo together and save up for the class.

Ronin has given us one helluva discount. The Tactical Rifle class is $150 for Saturday and $300 for both days to include Tactical and Intermediate Rifle.

I have talked to several people that have trained with Ronin, and they have all said that the classes at Ronin are among the best in the industry.

The maximum number of shooters we can have is 17. When we did the class last year at Range USA I thnk we had 19, so I know this class will fill up quick.

If you want to take the class, please post in this thread as soon as possible.

Of course your spot in the class will NOT be carved in stone until you are paid in full, but this will get the ball rolling.

I will provide updated information as soon as I get it.

Even after we get our max number of 17 shooters, if you want to take the class, please reply and we will start taking alternates in the order that they post in the thread.
It is always inevitable that someone gets a scheduling conflict and has to back out.

Day 1 has one openingand we still have openings for Day 2.

Jason at Ronin says we can handle one more shooter on Saturday.

We have one open slot for Saturday and I need at least one person that is shooting Day 1 on Saturday to sign up to shoot on Day 2 on Sunday.
Either that, or I need another shooter to sign up for both days. We only have 9 shooters for Sunday and we need a minimum of 10.

Latest weather is sunny and high in the 80's for both days.
Prepare for heat, sun, and bring lots to drink in addition to pre-hydrating.

With full sun all day and temps in the mid 80's , being a heat casualty in March sounds crazy but is a real possibility.
Make sure you have everything you need to stay cool and hydrated.

I'd be down for a 2 day. As long as it's not late April ;)

Makes sense, probably an abbreviated tac rifle class to get everyone on the same page.

Late March would be my preference. Either the 24th or 31st.

Temps should be pleasant in the 60's during the day and hopefully we will miss the April and May downpours.

Given the choice I really would prefer to take an intermediate level class, the other basic carbine class I took was okay but I'd prefer to challenge myself a bit more.

Regardless, I'm down with whatever.

I think everyone has to take their Tactical Rifle class (or per the Ronin website, or proof of basic carbine training from a reputable establishment).

I am talking to Jason and he said he may add the Intermediate class on the next day for those that want to take it too.

I will keep posting details as I get them and post the projected dates for us to see what works for the majority.
