Yeah, apparently after my first few runs of the shirts (my wife's idea, btw, for the shirt) the owner of ak47.net tried to hit me up for 50% of my profits from the sale of the shirts since he had graciously allowed me to advertise them on his site in the FOR SALE section.  Now, keep in mind, at the time anyone could post anything for sale there and not pay a fee for it.  I was already giving him $2 a shirt for each one that sold from his site.

Well, I told him "No thanks" on his "generous" offer and stopped advertising them there.  I was promptly kicked off the board and could not log in from my home computer there.  Well, a few months later I was on a friend's computer and noticed they had a "Shop" set up selling clothing.  Lo and behold, there are my shirts for sale.  Pissed me off, but I shrugged my shoulders and continued selling here and a few other places.  No skin off my ass.

Well, someone here, who got pissed off at the inequity of the whole thing, sent a letter to SANRIO (the Hello Kitty people) and AK47.net got served with a cease-and-desist letter.

Recently, I was going to do another run,  but found out from someone at that other site that the owner got wind of it and was going to rat me out to Sanrio in revenge for something I didn't even do.

I wonder if there is a special place in hell for people like that?

What really upset us the most was that my poor wife, who had innocently come up with the idea, was so happy that her effort was helping to finance my medical school.  With me working only part time and going to school full time, the extra money that came in from the T-shirt sales was really putting a dent in our costs.  I was starting to run another batch for X-mas when I got the word about the ambush waiting in the wings.

It really upset my wife, knowing that some asshat from a site that STOLE her idea was now causing even more trouble for us.  Piss me off all you want, but when you make my wife cry, I will fucking hunt you down to the four corners of the earth, skin you alive, and rub salt in your various orifices while subjecting you to Japanese pop music and videos of Richard Simmons dancing.

Normally shoot at the Stones River Hunter Education Center out on Hobson Pike.  Most of the time the whole family tags alone.  5 year old with a BB, 6 year old with a 22 Cricket bolt action, me and the wife with the AR, 30.06, 10MM and 40 cal.

No match shooting but we do try to make the knob creeks shoot in KY.

FYI at the Stones river range they'll let you shoot the .223 on the handgun range.  This is pretty handy when working on self defense rifle shooting.

You're not kidding.  Unless you want to pony up for MSSA, you've got to either buy land outside Shelby County or find a buddy who owns some.

Yeah, join MSSA for the price of a modest home in Germantown or find a buddy with land.  I shot today in MS on a friend's land.  It was only the second time in a year.

I haven't shot my AR in roughly 8 months for that very reason.  I am looking forward to putting some rounds downrange in another week or so.  A friend has some land in Hardeman County and needs to sight in his new 1919A4.
