Does Utah have reciprocity with my state?
Utah will honor any permit issued by another state or county.

What states honor Utah's Concealed Firearm Permit?
This varies and is subject to change. Utah has formal reciprocity with: AL, AK, CO, FL, GA, LA, MI, NH, NC, ND, OH, PA, SD, TX, VA, WA,
WV. In addition, these states recognize Utah's CFP: AZ, AR, DE, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MT, NE, NV, OK, TN, VT, WI, WY. Prior to traveling, always confirm that your permit is recognized and review applicable local laws regarding concealed firearms.

Can I carry a concealed firearm if the property is posted "No Firearms"?
Technically, yes. State code does not prohibit you from carrying a concealed firearm on private property. There may be civil implications of possessing a firearm on private property.
Can I carry a concealed firearm in a church?
If the church has made proper notice in accordance with
USC 76-10-530(2), it is an infraction to carry a weapon in the building.
Can I carry a concealed firearm in a bar?
Yes, but it is illegal to be intoxicated and in possession of a firearm.
Can I carry a concealed firearm on school property?
Yes. Concealed firearm permit holders are not prohibited from carrying firearms onto or into public school property.
Am I required to notify a law enforcement officer that I am carrying a concealed firearm?
No, but many would advise it is prudent to do so.
