Cabelas online has a fair bit of 22 LR available. I just picked up a 500 brick of Remington Golden bullet (yeah, I know it's not target grade, but it's for plinking) for $35 and a 325 brick of Federal Auto-match for $22. Free shipping to the store. Although I didn't try it, Cabelas would let you order up to 5 bricks each.

So, it's not the awesome days of $12 bricks of Federal 550s, but it came out to 7.3 cents/round. I'm stocking up to take the Boy Scouts shooting next month.

ETA: Looks like the Federal is sold out, but I just added 5 bricks of the Remington to my cart, and it looks like it would let me order all 5.

I've had good luck buying 22 at the SoJo Sportsman's WH. Three separate trips in and three purchases.

Fixed it. I recall being irritated when the price jumped up to $12.

You know, back in the day when you could get a 100-rd Win White Box 9mm for $8.99.

Walmart in Saratoga Springs had Federal 325 Auto Match the other day for about $18.  First time I'd seen any in 2+ years.  6-7 boxes or so.  Didn't even buy any.  I've given up shooting the 22s.

Seriously?!  If you're going to reminisce, I'd go with the days when my buy price was =<$5.00, and I'm not that old.

I was at the Farmington Cabelas a few days ago and they have relaxed the limits on .22lr.  I picked up a couple bulk packs of Fed Auto Match at $21 each.  There was a few more left too.

Cabelas in Lehi had plenty.

500 rounds of Aguila .22 super extra 40gr copper plated solid $49.99
300 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag .22 36gr copper plated hollow point $27.99

I am probably going to buy more of the CCI M-M 300rd packs.  $0.0933 cents a round.
