I had a dish installed on my roof last spring,It snowed 1 time and lost me signal so I cleaned it off with a garden hose and it worked fine. What do any of you use to keep snow and ice off of your dish? thanks to all that reply.

There are several things available like sprays, tents, and electric heaters.

Personally, i just use a broom.

I just sweep it off with a broom.  It's mounted on the edge of my back porch and only about 8 or 10 feet off the ground.

tried sprays   lasted 1 snowfall.
will have to go with the heater next.
that thing is 30ft off the ground on top of the highest point of my 2 story house.
i can barely reach it going up a 20ft extension ladder then a long stick to beat it with.
no super soaker will reach that far.  and the hose is worthless when frozen over.
