BLM's map of where we cannot shoot
This seems to suggest that we can still shoot around Fivemile Pass, south towards Goshen on the SW side of the lake by Little Moab, and pretty much anywhere east of I-15 it would appear. If we were to do something, what are blackout days, weeks, months, etc. for UTHTF members? |

Are you guys mostly in Utah county? From SLC, the best shooting areas are to the west like Stansbury Island and Lone Rock. I never liked the pelican point area even before they started restricting shooting there, too many idiots that don't understand what geometry of fires means.

On dates; let's work the other way first. Anyone have any BLACKOUT days or weekends? Anyone need particular amounts of notice to get the day off, if we happen to do this on a weekend that you are scheduled to work?

Independence Day? Sheesh! Do you ever want this to happen?
It's been my experience, when planning an event, to not worry about when people can or can't make it. You'll never please everybody. Just pick a location, date and time that works for you, and hope that it works for others as well. If you plan it, they will come.  . Buy if you end up being the only one there, make the best of it anyways.
