i've lived in utah on and off for the past 15 years, and i'm finally back to stay. i've been shooting black rifles for 5-6 years now, and would really like to take a class. i currently live in brigham city, but have family down in utah valley so i'm down there and in-between a lot.

anyone have any suggestions? anywhere to avoid?

The Counter Terrorism Institute of America offers an urban rifle course that I've taken twice and really enjoy. It's a day-long course that goes over a wide variety of skills such as tactical reloading, using cover, firing off-hand and from different positions, working with teams, etc. You can find more info here: http://www.combat-terror.com/

I will 2nd Combat-Terror. Dennis does a great job in their training and will take very good care of you.

I took my wife to his 1/2 day pistol course. She had not done a lot of shooting. Dennis had himself, and one other instructor for 12 people. He took my wife and the other lady that had not shot much & personally gave them instruction for most of the class. I was impressed.

Haven't come across them before but I'm finding several classes on their website I'm interested in.
