Well that sucks
Never met him in person but seemed to be a good guy.
That's just to young.

I'm still in disbelief mode. Was too young and a true family man who would still go out of his way to help anyone regardless.

Damn...Really nice guy. There was a hometown shoot up on Memaloose about five years back. I showed up on my KLR just to hang out. He brought out a bunch of really, really fun stuff and insisted I take part. All of the guys in that group were equally good folk.

Peace my friend and prayers for the family.

This one hits very close to home for me. Eric is wearing my father's jacket. Dad had just passed away a couple years prior to this and I gave him that jacket at a shoot because it was to large for me.
Can you email me a clean copy Mark?
Thanks man.

He was young.

Let the people you love know it.  You have no idea when the end will come.

It's really heartbreaking and shocking to read about how young he was and knowing what a good guy he was. I like many of you had the privilege of hanging out with him either at a shoot or when he was sharing his skills helping to weld something together for one of us or sharing his enthusiasm or insight on firearms or sharing his wonderful collection firearms. Notice how many times I wrote "sharing" he was incredibly generous. He had a great sense of humor and was truly a great man one that will be remembered and missed by many of us. Condolences to his lovely family.

Heartbreaking to hear, Eric was great human who was always very kind to me and kept in touch. I'll never forget when he came up to me at an arf shoot and made me shoot one of his machine guns. My first full auto...
