I found this story out of Illinois. Not really surprised. One year my dad got his ballot back about 2 weeks after the election saying his signature didn't match. In this story the lady says she could check online, in IL anyways.

Yes, you call your county elections office (wait at least two days after mailing your ballot) and confirm that it was received. You have to wait a bit longer to call and ask if your signature was verified. I do this every election. Democrats cheat.
