Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is it still legal to carry a concealed weapon while going to and from a fishing or hunting trip?

I was just wondering if the law was change. I heard it was OK to do it without a CWP as long as your not driving around 3 in the morning with a fishing pole in the trunk and loaded gun on you

If you are in Portland you need a CHL if you are going to carry a loaded weapon, concealed or open.  I'm pretty sure a CHL is required everywhere in Oregon to carry a weapon concealed.

The hunting/fishing part is still in the regs.  Never heard of it being used in court to defend not having a permit while carrying though.
