It's about and hour and a half off the freeway if you exit near kelso Washington. Depending on where you are coming from.
ETA. Weather should be great. Easy roads to drive.

It's approximately 100 miles, less if you cross the river in Longview as suggested. US Highway 30 is the fastest route. Washington State Route 4 is a pretty drive and you'll end up crossing the Astoria Megler Bridge to get back into Oregon if that interests you. Weather should be good but remember it is the Oregon coast. Be prepared for both 80 degree days and 50 degree days with wind and rain.

Make sure you visit Fort Stevens State Park. Neat piece of history that's slowly falling apart. I just revisited it for the first time in 20 years and it has changed.
