This is just my opinion...
From everything I have read it sounds like a giant Charlie Foxtrot. There are legal agreements, with the county, that the TVSC seems reluctant to follow. The county could very well lose its patience and could possibly shut the club down. |

TVSC are evidently bringing in thousands of cubic yards of fill dirt from multiple sources around the region. It is believed this is an attempt by TVSC to fill in the areas where they exceeded their mining depth. The are evidently not keeping records of the where the fill is coming from. From my past experience dealing with fill that is an excellent way to end up getting contaminate dirt dumped on your property. Once contaminated stuff gets mixed in you can have major clean up problems or the entire area can be declared off limits for use.

And now TVSC is sending out mailers giving their side of the story. Frankly if people are making noise complaints our response should be "why do you hate the sound of freedom?"

I am glad I am not the only one who is wondering what the real deal is on this. Was very surprised to see the original newsletter on the issue, and more so to see the recent TVSC letter.

I support the land owners not tcgc.
They narc'd on the club. All those old farts have always hated practical rifle and black guns. |

After reading the newsletter and speaking with other long term members it doesn't appear good, for those of us that just want a place to shoot and compete. I really wonder what the old TVSC Fudds want more, control, money, or close it down.

Have I been blind? When did the tvsc office show up? I was there last month using the indoor range and couldn't remember seeing it before. Maybe it was the giant tvsc sign on it, but the had an open house meeting going with no one at all in there. It was kinda funny but not. |
