Now that we know we can pull it off lets get another one going for this summer. I suppose we should start kicking dates around. Late July?
If anyone has a better spot in mind let me know. Next time we need some challenges also. Ideas? -Annie Oakley clay shoot. -Pistol challenges? -Of course something AR related. And if a certain someone can manage to stay awake lets bbq.

Yes. Im in on the next one, damnit. Very unfortunately, I had alot of catching up to do this weekend, and there was no way to make it. I see that didnt slow you guys down any though. How many showed up?
Anyway, I dont have a spot to suggest, but would any of the more southern guys show up if the spot was further south? I could have made it for an hour or so if the drive wasnt an all day affair. Should be no problem next time though, if thats what we do. It would be cool to do something like 3 gun with some barricades and a set course of fire. I really like how they do the 2 gun action challenge matches. Dont know if we would have the room though.

I think we probably had 20 or so guys show up. That was more than I expected. I'll try to scout a little and see if we can find a little more dirt to spread out but the spot worked decent.

Depending on when...I would be happy to offer to "host" at COSSA in Bend. This might be a different shoot from the one discussed in this thread. My FIL teaches a big bore class out there. He'd be up for that too, in case anyone wants to hit the 1000 yard range. He is really good. I can't believe what he hits with irons. For 80+ years old, the guy is steadier than my bipod. My .22 can't quite reach that far.

He is a "character" in the best sense of the word, and could teach anyone stuff about firearms. The guy gets pissed off when he hears I buy ANY ammunition. "SON, Got to reload your own. Factories can't match what you can do yourself!" So, I buy a case of trap loads for 15 cents/shell and he's pissed! I'll be following the date. Want to connect and shoot things! Will try to schedule a separate CO event later in summer. |

I can bring a KSG if anyone wants to try and shoot clays with it. I put an old eotech on it that has a dead spot in it so it's kind of a cocksucker but I never shoot it anyways.

Unless I get really lucky, my 2 form 1's won't be back in time. So I'll be short my two and only SBR's. I might have to sig brace my AR, but the 4.5" m&p 15-22 will still be locked up.
