I think OFF is talking about firearms out on loan right now. Everyone who has a gun out on loan, not to a family member, is in violation of the law as soon as it is signed...

Both Oregon and Washington responsible firearm owning families are the victims of Bloomberg's media blitz. The freedoms we and our fathers knew have been eroded by those who arrogantly think they know best. There is incredible power in the media these days, and people with big money can easily influence the urban dwellers, many of whom fear firearms, because they have not been taught responsible use and safety, and are quick to vote for anything they are led to believe will stop the criminal activity with firearms. Sad to say, there is an ever growing political and philosophical divide between the urban areas and more rural areas.
