I'll be in Pendleton all next week for work. Just wondering if there was much to do in the area beside check out the local brewery, which very well may occupy most of my down time

Just got back from there, take a rifle for some long range fun. Also hit the Pendleton woolen mill and do the tour, only takes 25 minutes and go to the room at the end and buy some blankets. The seconds are the same quality as the regular ones but have a little mistake. I bought four king size ones for under 400 bucks. They will last longer than you will. The prodigal son brewery is good. Some cool shops. Also the Casino is only a few minutes down the road.

There is a pretty good shooting pit about 15 mins from pendleton on the way to pilot rock. I just moved here and I'm still getting to know the area, dickies bbq is an awesome place to eat if you get a chance.

You must not have had good BBQ if you think Dickies is good

I lived in Pendleton for 2.5 long years. It's better than the west side of the state... but that's about it.

Hamlins for a drink or two Cimmiyottis for dinner.
