I typically keep my employment on the DL, but I work for a very large optics company in Beaverton. You local guys should know which one...

They are having a blem sale next weekend (9 Aug 2014), and each employee gets two passes to hand out to friends/family. Being that most of my friends happen to work there, I can't find anybody to take my passes.

So, here is the deal. Two passes to the blem sale are up for grabs to any local member who has been registered here for over a year. My only request is that if you take the pass, you actually go. One pass per member.

If it's anything like the last sale, all items are below employee pricing, which by itself averages 55% of MSRP.

I can mail them on my dime if need be, but prefer you pick them up from me locally.

They had something from almost every product line last time, just not all reticles or magnification.
The price list gets posted next week, so I'm not sure what all is included this time around.

They are selling demo units, items with scratches, bad anodize color or in some cases the wrong reticle installed.

The passes got tossed in the mailbox a bit late on Saturday, so they should have gone out yesterday. I meet up with Dash at work today to give him passes.

So far, no other passes have been tossed my way, but I'll be sure to update if I do get more.

Dammit OP. I got inside and found my three items. Then an employee gave me a second pass.

I'm glad that a few of you guys got to go.
I missed out entirely. Tires on both of my vehicles got slit, so I spent my Saturday morning trying to get my truck rolling again.

For the next sale, I'll hit up my supervisor earlier on, so he can tell people who haven't offered their passes up to throw them my way.

I have heard legends about this sale. I live on the far South of the state but if it comes around again please let me know. I would make the drive just to see the sale, and buy a thing or two!
