We had one not too long ago where a guy "practicing his draw" accidentally shot his poster of Al Pacino from Scarface....his neighbors in the apartment that shared the same wall didn't appreciate it too much either. People do dumb shit!

My CHL instructor was practicing his trigger pulls on his couch and couldn't see his sights in low light so he put his hand in front of his revolver and proceeded to put a hole in his hand. The class went downhill from there

I have two friends who have shot themselves by accident. Both were very experienced gun handlers. Just goes to show you that it can (and does) happen to anyone.
