How is the air up there anyways?
If it was me I'd be asking da Hobbit "how much $$$ do you cost". I'm sure he gets vacation time he could use to make a couple bucks over here on the weird side of the state... Heck, I bet he'd combine it with a buy/trade/barter/sell/BS session with his westside homies.

Heck, I've done contract litigation out in Tillamook. Tried to talk the client into somebody local-er, but she wasn't interested. Got what she wanted, so she was happy. |

As i've thought about it over the last couple years I have decided that all forms of electic ticket-issuing are retarded and shouldn't be allowed. No matter what the purveyors of these wonderful devices state as their benefit to society, they are simply another form of revenue and basically a tax without legislation... I'm a firm believer in discretion...sometimes people just need a ticket, sometimes just being stopped and called out for bad driving is all that's needed with a warning. I'd say very seldom do I know if I'm gonna write a ticket before I even contact the driver. A lot depends on if the person seems like they learned their lesson, some just down right fail the attitude test , and some violations are so egregious/dangerous that I know before I even flip on the lights that they're getting a ticket. With red-light cameras and photo radar everyone gets a ticket that commits the violation. Whatever happened to being able to face yer accuser?? Pretty sure there was an amendment to that constitution thingy about this? Maybe the 6th one or something? |
