Haven't been to a gun show in a few years. I'm hoping I won't be disappointed. Looking for a Savage MK 2 or 1K of .223 or a lower.
I'll report back in case anyone is thinking of going.

I'm back. Pretty good selection of AR's and accessories. Pmags for $13. Keith's had some stripped lowers I didn't recognize for $79. I picked up 500 rounds of .223 from Tactical Ammunition for $181. No Savage MK 2 .22LR Overall I'm glad I went.

I didn't know there was a show today. That would explain my wait time earlier with OSP... There's always a wait time, it just gets stupid when there's a show.

Was there any bulk 5.45x39 there? (NOT 7.62; I need to feed the AK-104 )

I don't know about that caliber. I saw lots of 9, .40, .45, .223, 7.62x39, and .308. Sorry.

I was one of the people who used to bitch loudly about all the crap at gun shows. I am pleased to report that I went to the show at the expo center yesterday (Sunday), and didn't see a single: beanie baby, used porno tape, flea market table, cheap jewelry, or tables with stuff that was not related to guns, knives, or related gear.

This was the first show I have attended in about a year, and it was refreshing to notice that it seems we have gone back to having only items relating to firearms, knives, ammo, shooting gear and similar things that actually belong at a gun show. There appeared to be plenty of bulk ammo available, and overall, it was the kind of show I would return to. I still think the price to get in is a bit steep when you add parking ($7 if car pool, $9 alone) onto the $9 entry fee though. But I doubt that the people who run the show get much say about the price of parking.

Entry fee is $7, if you show them your Bimart card.

You did not look very hard, there were plenty of obnoxious non-gun related things at this show, especially in the far left corner of the hall.

I musta missed the junk...I guess it wasn't as prevalent as I had expected, hence my excitement. What was the junk that you saw? I did see one fellow selling para chord, shemaghs, and sniper veil looking things, one fellow with leather, but those could be construed as gun stuff. The leather was the most questionable stuff I saw, but I use leather for lots of gun things...

Yeah, I thought about using remote controlled cars and helicopters as moving targets, but it would be little pricey...
