I caught it when it was on USA last fall. It was a pretty good show. Seemed to have a good bit of filler though. They basically took the movie and stretched it out over 10 episodes. I feel like it would have been better as an FX series as opposed to USA, but I'll still watch the new season starting next week.

Lost interest in the show but was a fan of the movie.
The lead guy (Phillipe?) just doesn't suit the part in my opinion. |

Not too bad. Since I fly a lot, usually for 8-12 hours at a stretch, I watch a lot of stuff I might not watch while I'm home. Shooter kept me occupied for a while, not too bad.

Just binge watched the series. Thought it was pretty cool. Got to see Way of the Gun next.

Season 2 of Shooter is on TV now. About three episodes or so in. Good as well.

I didn't get why it was kind of a rip off of the movie. Are all the good writers dead? I did enjoy season 1. Hoping season 2 is good, but has an original story line.

Season 2 is original and not based off the movie. Lots of moving parts, so you need to pay attention or you will be rewinding to rewatch stuff.
