Will do. No night hunting on WMAs, still. Too bad. Lot easier to find a pig at night with thermal.

Took my thermal/NV gear to Ossabaw last year and it was awesome walking around at night outside the camp. Until I walked right up on some huge gators, and got the willies!

As a quick reference, if you cannot attend one of the meetings, you can submit comments electronically.  Suppressor use is question #8

Hit.

Added notes:
Feral hog hunting should be allowed at all hours with lights or image intensifying devices to further reduce their populations and encourage more hunters to take them.

Hit the survey. Some questions were vague as to the direction they want to go. Question 14, do they want broad use of changing either sex days or what?

I hit it up earlier.  Glad to see it is getting attention.  Been emailing them every year to open it up on WMAs since they passed the state law allowing hunting with them.   I border Allatoona WMA so I really hope this passes.

Seems like it, they just want general control to make the change at will based on their findings each season.

So what does this mean?

It's been approved, now just have to wait for all the new regulations to go into effect next season (July 2017) I believe.

April and May sections down, on to June - August.

So what exactly has been approved? Suppressors are now allowed on WMA's during day hunting?

Yup, here is what the proposal was:

Unless otherwise prohibited in 391-4-2-.70, it shall be lawful to hunt with silenced or suppressed weapons on WMAs.
