If so, have you used Word/Excel/PowerPoint on it?

A few users at work have them. Office runs fine on them.

A buddy of mine got one and ditched his laptop after he started using it. He said that Office works great on it.

If you run Office 365 and get the version that allows use on mobile devices you just pay yearly.  We got my wife a 365 account and she could run it on 2 computers and 2 or 3 mobile devices if I remember correct.

Office 365. $100 for 1 year.   5 PC's.  5 tablets.  And 5 phones.

Interesting... a standard iphone/ipad only requires a free outlook.com or other microsoft account. The ipad Pro requires the paid subscription.

Officially, Open Office looks to be Windows, Linux and MacOS. There is an Android port, but I don't see anything about IOS.
