Tea Party post win celebration.
I fondly remember the big Tea Party rally at the Capital. That thing was huge, went way into the night and felt like one of the safest places I've ever been. Absolutely no trash left and place was policed of stuff " almost entirely there prior " on any surface streets as we left. |

Drove up to the one in Waycross today. Nice event, everything went well. I didn't realize Waycross had that many police officers. They don't play down this way I guess.
About 200-300 people in attendance and about 8-10 protesters. They were funny- one long haired hippy that could have doubled for Si Robertson with a "resist Trump" sign. 2 "females" (term used loosely) that were playing for the other team and had rainbow flags, one lady in a wheelchair with a sign that said "ACA saves lives". All of these ragamuffins would scream stuff intermittently to interrupt the speakers and music. One guy was talking about abortion and the 2 rainbow broads were screaming "get your laws off my body!" We had a laugh at that- how the hell are homosexuals going to get pregnant in the first place? So that shouldn't even matter to them. A couple open carry people, just handguns. Some obvious but trying to be on the down low folks pulling security as well as Ware County's finest. No idjits in full camo carrying AR's in public thankfully :) |
