I think I read on the ticket registration that a member can have their spouse and up to 5 kids on one members registration.

No, my wife wasn't a member the first time she went, she was allowed in under my membership.  I just want to have her member ID on her own prereg to show her being active, for whatever statistics the NRA keeps and analyzes.

Plus, there's one board member elected at the meeting by all voting members present, from the list of candidates who were not elected by mail, to a one year term.  We've gotten ARFCOM members elected that way in the past.

I think most people go just to look at the displays and buy from vendors selling stuff.  I go to the meeting with the training staff to see what they're changing this year, Ollie North has had book signings the past couple of years, various other celebrities are at booths at specific times or having events, there's the actual member meeting itself where you can hear they discuss what's going on with the NRA and vote for some initiatives, there's one board member elected only at the meeting for a one year term, Hank Williams Jr will be doing a concert (separate tickets, available for purchase online now), etc...

The NRA will not have a convention where carrying is prohibited. That's all I know.

Government buildings are no longer prohibited unless they have a security checkpoint, thanks to GCO.  Courthouses, jails etc. are still on no-go list.

This will be my first time attending the meetings.  Probably going for the ILA forum, exhibits and concert.

They should be coming out the 1st week of April.

I have some friends from SE GA coming up to Atlanta. We'll be taking Marta in to the convention center for the Sat & Sun activities.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday.  Guess I will just avoid the Food Courts in CNN center.  I'm sure there's plenty of other places to eat.  Plan on OC while there.

Hey Tim, I'd love to shake your hand at the ILA forum or elsewhere that isn't too crazy.  I'll also be at the Grassroots State of the Union, meeting of members and in the exhibit hall (we failed to find the arfcom meet up in Nashville, but Nolo and I did a 2-person lifer meetup & lunch).

Of course man, we will definitely connect. I should be at most of those in addition to the ARCOM meet ups at Magpul.

I will IM you my contact data.

The app shows the National NRA Foundation Banquet from 1700-2200 and the "NRA Presents Worship Night with Matthew West" from 1900-2200.  The Exhibit Hall won't be open.

Thanks I looked through the NRA website and I guess I missed that. If I have the passes coming in the mail do I have to register Thursday? The one thing I did see is registration is Thursday so I think that if for the people who didn't sign up for the passes through the NRA website. Is that correct or does everybody have to register at the convention before they can enter? Thanks I appreciate the help.

No, you'll get a cloth badge holder and your "badge" (it's not personalized, or at least wasn't the past two years, just a printed card saying NRA Annual Meeting 201*", or some such).  They won't mail the ribbons for Life members and higher, you'd have to get those from registration.
