Had a great time. Thanks Quiet Riot and Silencerco. Brought the wife and kid and got them shooting the rimfire stuff. My son had never shot anything larger than a Daisy Red Rider before today.
The Sig MPX was pretty sweet. The Salvo 12 was surprisingly quiet, as well as the Barrett MRAD in .338 LapuaMag. Lots of other cool things to shoot as well. |

I wanted to spend the day with them and involve them in a shooting event. Neither of them are big on the noise factor, so I figured a suppressed event would be good for them. I really want to get my kid involved and get him comfortable with shooting, so he can enjoy it later in life like I do. |

Man that was so much fun. I wish I had the money to buy two cans but I did come away with purchasing an Osprey 45. The prices were too good to pass up. Loved the Osprey Micro (well all of the .22 guns and cans). I'm a lefty but I did the bolt action station all righty. The 300 win mag sounded like one of the .22 rifles. So quiet and soft! The .338 Lapua was also softer than I thought it would be. I came away knowing I definitely want to build a 300 BLK SBR and get an Omega can. SHIT!!!!!! |
