Has anyone seen reloader 22 around the Canton/Jasper area? I'm about to get my .30-06 back from Accurate Ordnance and need tome powder to work up a new load. Thanks

I've seen quite a bit of RL-19 and RL-22 for sale on The Outdoors Trader.

I was in Cabela's on Hwy 92 the other day, thought I saw RL-22, but I'm not sure. Worth a call.

I mainly use IMR4350 in my .30-06 and .338-06AI and it works exceedingly well, but I am loading for hunting applications. I've got plenty of IMR4350 if you change your mind.

I saw 2 or 3 pounds in Bass Pro the other day for ridiculous money at $35 a pound.

It is not close, but I always go to Sporting Arms in Winterville by Athens to get my powder as he always has good stock at good prices.

You may want to look at RL17 for your .06 as it really works well.
I drive 208 AMAX's at 2750 in mine at 1/2 moa.

Alliant Reloader powders come from two sources; Bofors in Sweden and Nitrochemie in Switzerland with Nitrochemie making a more stable/less sensitive powder in the RL17, 26 and 33.

Granted tons of good powders on the market. I found something I liked in RL17 that worked great in a wide variety of calibers and have been stocking up. I have nearly 40# of RL17 so should be good to go for a while

I appreciate everyone's input. I was running 208 AMAX with rl22, but I am swapping to 190 vlds after I get the rifle back. I'm looking for a good powder to get the most out of those vlds and had heard some promising results with h4350 and rl22. Problem is I can't find either at my normal powder places. I may look into the 17 since I think I saw that at Cherokee the other day

I'll verify H4350, IMR4350, and Re22 @ Cabela's 92 thursday evening.

The Re22 was there yesterday when I picked up H4198 for some tickles and giggles in 5.56 & 6.8.

Unless inventory is wrong there is a store on Cobb Pkwy with (1) Reloader 22 and (1) IMR 4350 (both 1 pounders).

I suppose I will try Cabalas tomorrow and see if they still have some. Thanks again guys.

For the Ol' '06 why not try IMR 4064. Its readily available and shoots fantastic in the old 30 calibers.

ETA: RE22 is awfully slow for a medium capacity 30 cal. I'll bet you would get better results with a faster powder. Like RE17/15, H4350, and  Varget

Try Cherokee Gun and Pawn - they have been stocking much more powder. I was there today looking at powder not sure if they had R22 as I was not looking for that.

I did pretty good then!  Bought 9 1lb cans of IMR4350 off a guy on the ODT for $20/lb.
