Just heard about this story, driving back from Tn.  The clip that the radio played was not very good, plus I was in a noisy truck. Sounds like the gentleman SHOULD NOT HAVE been carrying a firearm, concealed or other wise. No permit, sounded like he did admit to being a convicted felon. Officer told him NOT to touch/ reach/ unholster the firearm.  Dawin Award ?
