Have posted some pictures over in the Photo forum and someone recommended this.  So I figured I would start it off with some shots of Atlanta.  Up next will be pictures from South GA!  Lets see your pictures HTF!

Have any of  Stone Mountain, Okefenokee, or coastal GA?

Yes to those last two.  I took a bunch of pictures on Tybee Island, in Savannah and at Okefenokee Swamp.  I have been meaning to make my way back to Stone Mountain for the sunrise.  I will post those others soon!

I've got some aerials of downtown we commissioned for one of our brochures recently. I'm not sure if I have rights to post them but will ask the photographer tomorrow.

Cool!  What was the brochure for?

Most photographers should be ok with it as long as you give them credit.

My firm has listed a piece of real estate for sale. We were given a marketing budget that allowed us to hire a photographer to jump in a plane for an hour or so. We priced helicopter-based photographers and drone-based photographers and the airplane was most economical. The drone outfit priced themselves out of a job by a factor of 10.

Nice work guys!
After 30+ years selling pro gear and working with pros throughout the southeast, I rarely pick up a camera in anger now days. However I will help my wife cover some high school ball games for her studio.
Keep posting the local pics.

The city, as seen from the top of the Concourse V building (King and Queen Towers).

Northside Hospital, also from the roof of Concourse V.  Google Earth says I was about a half mile away when I took this shot.

I have some shots from the old mill that I took back in the late '70's before it was a state park. If they were COC compliant I would post a few.

May have to dig them out and re-visit some old memories from my college days.

Good picture of Settlers Bridge.

Fun facts about that bridge.

1) My dad and I would walk out to the middle with trash bags full of empty coke cans. We would then toss them in the water and sink them with 22s. Great moving target training.

2) Dad was into NFA stuff so I borrowed his CAR15 and a bunch of tracer. A couple of friends and I sat out on the bridge shooting up and down the river in full auto bouncing tracers off the water.

3) Yes, you can survive jumping off the top of the bridge into the water...but only on the far side where it's deep enough.

They were all shot with an 18-200 VRII off of a tripod.

Shutter speeds ranged from 10-40 seconds.  Night photography requires a tripod and some patience playing with settings.  It is impossible to get a star shot like that one of the Big Dipper around Atlanta due to all of the light pollution.
